Vintage Swedish Ceramic Cat Figurine

This figurine is a Swedish ceramic cat by Guldkroken Hjo, a well-known pottery and ceramics manufacturer in Sweden.  

Guldkroken animal figurines (especially cats) are highly collectible in Scandinavia and among mid-century design enthusiasts worldwide.

White glaze versions are somewhat less common than colored ones, giving this cat extra appeal.

Maker: Guldkroken Hjo, Sweden.

Era: Guldkroken has been active since the 1940s, with many of their popular animal figurines produced between the 1960s–1980s.

Size: Approx. 6 inches (15 cm) high, 4.5 inches wide (11.5 cm).  

Material:  Glazed ceramic, white with hand-painted facial details.
