Vintage Blanket/Throw

A really fun and collectible textile,  vintage acrylic/wool blend throw blanket featuring three tabby cats on a dark background. 

Can be used over the sofa, on the bed or even as a wall hanging. 

Maker: No maker detail but many of these novelty cat and dog blankets were produced in Spain, Portugal, or Eastern Europe during this period, often sold as both throws and wall tapestries.

Era: Most likely 1970s–1980s, when bold graphic animal print throws and wall-hangings were very popular.

Material:  No label, but seems to be a wool/acrylic blend

Size:  Throw fits a standard double bed 135 cm wide x 190cm long, (4 feet 6 inches by 6 feet 3 inches). 

Condition: Very good condition, vibrant colours, good display condition. (Please see photos for full details.)
