Vintage Staffordshire-style Recumbent Cat Figurine

This is a gorgeous reproduction Staffordshire-style recumbent cat.

True antique Staffordshire cats (1800s) can be very valuable,  this lovely example, with its bright glaze and defined decoration, appears to be a mid-20th century reproduction, which are collectible but not as rare.

Maker: Likely English (Staffordshire reproduction) or continental (20th-century decorative piece) inspired by 19th-century originals.

Era: Many 20th-century reproductions (1950s–1980s) were produced in England and overseas for the collector market.

Size: Approx. 6 inches (15 cm) high, 9 inches wide (23 cm).  

Material:  Glazed ceramic, with defined decoration.
